Information event: funding opportunities for civil society engagement in the reconstruction of Syria
The BMZ-funded GIZ BRIDGE project “Strengthening the Capacity of Syrian Civil Society” is launching the fourth round of the TAKAMUL Fund (TAKAMUL IV). The fund aims to strengthen Syrian civil society and promote social cohesion and peaceful coexistence across social, ethnic and religious differences.

To assist with the application process, two virtual information sessions on the TAKAMUL IV call for proposals and on the assessment of commercial and legal eligibility (KEP) will be held, organized by the “A New Beginning for Syria” platform:
- October 7, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (CET) on TAKAMUL IV – Information on the Call for Proposals and Guidance Document
- October 12, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (CET) on the assessment of commercial and legal eligibility for funding (KEP)
